2012 Night Sliders Competition

  Allen's latest outdoor recreation attraction, Hydrous Wake Park is OPEN to the public! Located at 500 N. Cedar, the park features a 5 acre, oval shaped lake equipped with clockwise 6 tower system to pull the wakeboarders and “UNIT” park features (obstacles that allow riders, from beginners to professionals, to perform tricks). It also features three system 2.0’s on smaller lakes for lessons/birthday parties/camps, a 4,500 sq. ft. pro shop & retail center, a full equipment rental facility on the north side of the main lake, restaurant called “Shredders Pizza”, and a sand beach with plenty of picnic tables and pavillions for shade . Hydrous is the 13th cable wakeboard park in the United States and the third in Texas.

  Professional wakeboarders, Cody Johnson & Jade Whirley are Hyrdrous’ on staff pros. Cody was ranked #4 best cable wakeboarder in the nation and #15 internationally by World Wakeboard Association in 2010. On September 16th & 17th, 2011, Hydrous hosted the final stop of the 2011 Monster Energy WWA Wake Park Triple Crown and the 2011 WWA Wake Park National Championships. It was spectacular to say the least … check out pictures & videos below of this huge event that drew professional wakeboarders & journalists from all over the world. In addition, Hydrous hosted another international event “Oneill Wake the Line”  qualifier on April 28th, 2012.  Voted best cable park in the world by Unleashed Magazine!
